Aussie speedster Pat Cummins will make his long awaited return to competitive action when he takes part in two matches in Ireland this week.

Australia A clinched a 93 run win against a battling Ireland XI, who although never really threatened to pull off a famous win, certainly made their opponents fight for their wickets.

Stuart Poynter scored his maiden first-class 50 but it was not enough to prevent Ireland losing their four-day game with Australia A by 93 runs.
